Delete your data
Anya Ngay? is made by Pink Potato Design. This page explains how to delete your account and everything attached to it.
If you still have the app
- Open Anya Ngay?
- Go to Settings (the gear, bottom right)
- Tap Your data
- Tap Delete everything, then confirm
This erases your check-ins from the phone and from your account, and deletes the account itself. It cannot be undone.
If you have already uninstalled it

from the Google or Apple account you signed in with, with the subject
Delete my Anya Ngay account.
Sending it from that address is what identifies the account — we do not ask for anything else, and you do not need to reinstall.
If you used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email,
you cannot send mail from the relay address Apple gave us. Write from any
address instead and include your
@privaterelay.appleid.com address in the message. We
confirm by replying to that relay address — only you receive mail sent to
it, so the reply is the check.
Requests are actioned within 30 days.
What is deleted
Everything held against your account:
- your name and email, from the Google or Apple account you signed in with
- your check-ins — the mood you picked, and the day
- any rants that had not yet expired — the words, however you entered them (dictation becomes text on your phone; no audio is ever stored)
- the account record itself — your sign-in with Anya Ngay? stops existing
What is not deleted, and why
If you turned on Improve Anya, the app also collected anonymous usage and crash data:
- that the app was opened
- that a first check-in was completed
- that a check-in happened — never which mood
- that the reminder was turned on
- a count of each mood — never the days themselves
- your phone model, OS and app version
- which country — never your precise location
- crash reports, when the app crashes
- an anonymous device token, for the reminder
None of it carries your name, your email or your moods, and none of it is attached to your account — so there is no identity to look you up by, and deleting your account cannot reach it. You can stop that collection at any time in Settings → Data. It is retained for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your check-ins
Check-ins live on your phone. A copy is written to your own account only while you are signed in. Deleting your account removes that copy; uninstalling the app removes the phone's copy.
Your rants
Rants delete themselves 24 hours after you write them — on your phone, and in your account copy if you are signed in. You do not have to do anything. Deleting your account also removes any rant that has not expired yet; uninstalling the app removes the phone's copy. Dictation is turned into text on your phone; no audio is ever recorded or stored.
